Mileage Tracker Without GPS

Mileage Tracker is a manual mileage tracker for Android. Instead of following your location in the background, it lets you type in the drives that matter: distance or odometer readings, route, purpose and category. The app does not request location permission, no account is required, and your trip log stays on your device.

How a manual mileage tracker works

No GPS and no location permission

Automatic mileage apps detect drives from your phone's location, which usually means granting location access that keeps working in the background. Mileage Tracker takes the opposite approach: nothing records your drives automatically, and the Android app does not ask for location permission. The distance in your log is the distance you enter, from your odometer or from a route you checked yourself.

No account required, trip log on your device

You do not need to sign up to start logging miles. Trips are saved on your phone, not in an online account, which is why the app works as a private mileage tracker. There is no cloud sync or cloud backup: if you want a copy of your records outside the phone, export them as PDF or CSV with Pro.

The free version shows ads, and Google Play handles in-app purchases. Ads, billing or app store services may process technical data where enabled. Details are in the privacy information.

Looking for an offline mileage tracker?

Because your trip log lives on the device rather than on a server account, logging a drive does not depend on signing in to an online service. Enter the trip when you park, and it is saved in your log.

Is a manual mileage log right for you?

A manual log fits freelancers, consultants, independent contractors, sales reps and real estate professionals who drive for work a few times a day or a week and prefer not to share their location with an app. If you make dozens of short trips every day and never want to type anything, an automatic GPS app may suit you better.
